Year 3 Roman Day

Over this term, year 3 are learning about the Romans and how and when they invaded Europe. We have learnt, acted out and written stories about Boudicca who rebelled against the Romans. We have also learnt about some of the things the Romans brought to England and the other countries they invaded e.g. central heating, straight roads etc.

For this topic, we had a Roman Day which involved us dressing up and role playing as Romans. A lot of art and design took place, as well as drama and dance. Here are some photos to give you an idea of what we did and the costumes wore for the day...
