On January 25th, 2016, grades II A, III A and III B prepared classes on
the topic of: “Games of our parents and grandparents.”, as part of our Erasmus
+ Project “Invaders – How they shaped the Europe of today”
In prepared sectors, one by one students learned the rules and how to
play, before competing against each other in three chosen games: bottle caps,
hopscotch and jumping a jump rope.
At the end, all the students played blind man’s bluff, which involves
one person covering their eyes and catching the others around a specified area.
The person who is caught becomes the blind man.
All the children had a lot of fun. We are sure that thanks to this
project, the youngest generation will use the potential of the old games and
will spend more of their time playing outdoors with their peers, rather than at
home on their comuters, tablets and phones.
